• *Key Responsibilities \& Deliverables**

• *1\. Quality Leadership, ISO 9001:2015 \& TQM Governance**

· **Quality Management System (QMS):** Develop, implement, audit, and update quality standards and QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

· **TQM Implementation:** Ensure adherence and continuous improvement in TQM systems including PPAP, Process Mapping, Process Flow charts, Control Plans, SOPs, and technical documentation.

· **PQCDSM Optimization:** Drive measurable improvements in PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale) by evaluating technology upgrades, replacing obsolete tools, and streamlining manufacturing cycles.

· **Compliance \& Legal Regulations:** Stay updated on safety, government, and legal regulations applicable to production units and export machinery.

• *2\. Export Product Quality \& Welding Control (TIG / MIG / Arc)**

· **SS TIG Welding \& Purging:** Oversee TIG welding parameters, enforcing mandatory Argon Back\-Purging to prevent root oxidation (sugaring) and corrosion in stainless steel, SS tanks and process vessels.

· **MIG \& Arc Welding Excellence:** Monitor MIG and Arc welding processes for deep penetration, correct shielding gas flow, and elimination of defects such as porosity, undercut, and spatter.

· **Surface Treatment \& Finishing:** Enforce zero\-defect export finishing standards including shot/sand blasting, epoxy coating, painting, and anti\-corrosion protection.

· **WPS / PQR / WPQ Enforcement:** Establish and review approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications.

• *3\. Inspection Management, Client \& Third\-Party Coordination**

· **Stage\-wise Quality Testing:** Perform regular quality checks, raw material testing, and in\-process inspections to identify and resolve potential issues early.

· **Third\-Party Inspection (TPI):** Lead client representatives and external TPI agencies (TUV, SGS, Bureau Veritas, etc.) for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and export release certificates.

· **NDT \& Pressure Testing:** Oversee Non\-Destructive Testing (UT, MPT, DPT, Radiography) and hydrostatic/pneumatic leak testing for wastewater treatment tanks and pressure equipment.

• *4\. Chronic Issue Resolution, Team Handling \& Customer Feedback**

· **Root Cause Analysis (RCA) \& CAPA:** Investigate production defects, write detailed reports on malfunctioning equipment, and execute CAPA to resolve critical and chronic quality bottlenecks.

· **Team Leadership \& Guidance:** Guide, mentor, and lead shop\-floor QC engineers, inspectors, welders, and fitters during internal/external audits and daily inspection activities.

· **Customer Satisfaction:** Review customer feedback, analyze operational data, and implement corrective changes to enhance product reliability, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty.

• *Candidate Profile \& Skill Requirements**

· **Education:** B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Full\-time).

· **Experience:** 12 to 18 years of progressive experience in heavy fabrication, process equipment, or water/wastewater treatment machinery.

· **Technical Competencies:** Hands\-on mastery in QMS (ISO 9001:2015\), TQM, PPAP, Control Plans, statistical analysis, TIG/MIG/Arc welding metallurgy, and NDT methods.

· **Leadership \& Problem\-Solving:** Strong team handling skills, analytical problem\-solving mindset, and experience in managing client/TPI audits.

· **Certifications (Preferred):** CSWIP 3\.1 / AWS\-CWI (Certified Welding Inspector), NDT Level II, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

Pay: ₹100,000\.00 \- ₹120,000\.00 per month
