Job Title: QIS Senior Analyst

Location: Mumbai

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Perform data validation and analysis of market data used for quantitative investment strategy (QIS) index computations.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of input data used for index calculations and validation.
• Monitor index levels and investigate discrepancies or data breaks.
• Prepare customized reports and analytical outputs for end clients.
• Coordinate with Trading Desks, regional teams, and counterparties to resolve identified breaks within timelines.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth middle\-office operations and data accuracy.
• Take ownership of assigned activities and ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support continuous process improvement and maintain strong control standards.

Requisites

• Graduate / MBA in Finance or a related discipline.
• Finance background with a good understanding of financial markets and products.
• Basic understanding of OTC Derivatives is desirable.
• Knowledge of Index strategies and index calculation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem\-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Python would be an added advantage.
• Ability to validate market data, identify discrepancies, and perform data analysis.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with Trading Desks and regional stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach towards process improvement and issue resolution.
