Quality Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring all deliverables align perfectly with our functional requirements and technical design specifications.

The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, a structured approach to problem\-solving, and a thorough understanding of modern software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• **Test Case Development:** Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to design, write, and maintain detailed, reusable test cases and test scripts.
• **Manual \& Functional Testing:** Execute manual, functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms to uncover software defects.
• **Defect Documentation:** Log, track, and prioritize software bugs in issue\-tracking systems with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, and logs.
• **Developer Collaboration:** Work closely with software engineers and product managers to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and verify bug fixes.
• **Regression \& Release Verification:** Perform rigorous regression testing cycles before production deployments to ensure new updates do not break existing features.
• **Process Improvement:** Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings to advocate for quality standards and optimize the quality assurance workflow.

Required Qualifications \& Skills

• **Experience:** Proven experience working as a Quality Analyst, Software Tester, or a closely related role within a software development environment.
• **Testing Methodologies:** Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), particularly within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• **Tool Proficiency:** Hands\-on experience using defect\-tracking and test management software such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar applications.
• **Analytical Mindset:** Exceptional analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to think from the end\-user's perspective.
• **Communication:** Strong written and verbal communication skills, crucial for documenting clear defect reports and collaborating across cross\-functional teams.
• **API Testing (Plus):** Basic familiarity with API testing tools like Postman is a plus.
