Quality Assurance Engineer - (Hiring drive - 25 July 2026 - Chennai)

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who doesn't just find bugs, they raise the bar. You bring deep experience in AI\-powered testing and a genuine passion for helping QA professionals and developers build better products. You think in systems, move fast, and know how to leverage tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and agentic workflows to multiply your impact and your team's by 10x.

Your technical foundation is strong: you're fluent in TypeScript\-based test automation frameworks like Playwright, with a sharp eye for front\-end issues and the instincts to fix them before they reach production. You thrive in agile environments, working shoulder to shoulder with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers.

This isn't just a testing role. You'll help shape our engineering culture, define testing strategies, and directly influence the reliability and performance of what we ship.

### **Roles and responsibilities.**

• Leverage AI as a tool to help get things done better and faster.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define and execute test strategies.
• Conduct automated and manual testing for functionalities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for frontend functionalities, and help empower the rest of the engineering team to do this as well.
• Work with test automation tools like Playwright to enhance test coverage, writing automated tests using various patterns such as POM, Screenplay, etc., as appropriate.
• Validate API responses, authentication mechanisms, and integration workflows using tools like Playwright, Postman, or other API testing tools.
• Perform cross\-browser and cross\-device testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Qase and/or Jira, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.
• Triage bug reports on a daily basis, and help build the rest of the team’s skills and participation in this activity to maximize KPI’s/SLOs.
• Regularly collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to improve the overall software quality.

### **Must have.**

• 3\-5 years of experience in software testing, with experience using AI to generate automated tests and/or do AI\-driven exploratory testing.
• Strong understanding and familiarity with test automation frameworks, like Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Knowledge of frontend testing for web applications. Experience with component testing is helpful.
• Knowledge of Chrome Developer Tools, as well as a deep understanding of the DOM and how the web works within a web browser.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast\-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with an eye for detail.
• Qase, or other test case management tools (TestRails, Browserstack, etc.)
• Jira, Confluence, Google Docs, and Google Sheets experience, or experience with using similar software to create documentation, proposals, test plans, and other sources of information.
• GitHub Actions or other CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc).
• Clear and effective communication skills to efficiently collaborate with cross\-functional teams.
