Quality Assurance Engineer III

• *About the role:**

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in automation tools, a good understanding of QA processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams and US\-based stakeholders. This role focuses on building and executing automated tests, reducing manual testing efforts, and contributing to overall product quality.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• *Skills and qualifications (mandatory):**

• *Automation Development \& Execution*** Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems
• Execute automated test cases and analyze test results
• Convert manual test cases into automation to improve regression coverage
• Assist in identifying areas suitable for automation

• *Framework Contribution*** Work within existing automation frameworks and contribute to improvements
• Follow established coding standards and QA best practices
• Ensure test scripts are maintainable and reusable

• *CI/CD \& Testing Support*** Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• Run automated tests as part of build and release cycles

• *Skills and qualifications (preferred):**

• 5–7 years of experience in QA with exposure to automation
• Hands\-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
• Basic to good programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems
• Understanding of QA concepts, test design, and defect lifecycle
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with AI agents or AI\-driven testing tools to improve QA efficiency is a plus
