Quality Assurance Engineer

• *Job Summary**Jain Software is looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical **Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE)** to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test cases to ensure the highest quality of our software products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software developers, project managers, and product owners to identify defects, validate fixes, and ensure smooth, bug\-free deployments.**Key Responsibilities**

• **Test Planning \& Strategy:** Review software requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create comprehensive, well\-structured test plans and test cases.
• **Automation Development:** Design, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts for web and mobile applications using modern frameworks.
• **Manual Testing:** Execute thorough functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing to catch edge cases that automation might miss.
• **Defect Tracking:** Identify, document, log, and track software bugs using tools like Jira; verify and close bugs once fixed by the development team.
• **CI/CD Integration:** Integrate automated test suites into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline to ensure continuous quality delivery.
• **Collaboration:** Partner with developers to reproduce tricky issues and understand system architecture to write better tests.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• **Experience:** 2\+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance (both manual and automated testing).
• **Automation Tools:** Hands\-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• **Programming Languages:** Proficiency in at least one programming language like Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• **API Testing:** Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
• **Database Knowledge:** Good understanding of SQL queries for backend data validation.
• **Soft Skills:** Excellent problem\-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Pay: ₹7,000\.00 \- ₹12,000\.00 per month
