Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical **Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer** with at least **2 years of experience in manual testing** to ensure the delivery of high\-quality software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem\-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross\-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.
• Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Validate new features and ensure existing functionalities continue to work as expected.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as **JIRA** or **Zoho Sprints**.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes before closure.
• Execute **Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration,** and **User Acceptance Testing (UAT)** support as required.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in release validation and production issue verification.
• Maintain test execution reports, defect reports, and provide regular testing status updates.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing concepts and methodologies.
• Minimum **2 years of hands\-on experience in Manual Testing**.
• Good knowledge of the **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)** and **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)**.
• Experience in identifying, documenting, and analyzing software defects.
• Exposure to **API Testing** using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as **JIRA** or **Zoho Sprints**.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
