Quality Auditor

• *Job Title:** Auditor, Management Systems (Chemical / Electrical)

• *Location:** Ahmedabad (travel required)

• *About the Role**

We need an auditor to plan and carry out ISO management system audits at client sites and write up the results. You will work to ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021\-1 and be expected to stay impartial and consistent.

• *What You Will Do**

• Review client scope, documents and past audit records before each audit
• Prepare audit plans, checklists and schedules
• Conduct Stage 1, Stage 2, surveillance, recertification, transfer and special audits, on\-site or remote
• Check conformity to standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 22000 and 50001
• Hold opening and closing meetings, collect objective evidence and record findings
• Write clear audit reports with nonconformities, observations and improvement opportunities, and submit them on time
• Explain findings to client teams and tell them what happens next, without consulting
• Pass on any business leads you come across during audits

• *Qualifications**

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
• IRCA/CQI Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001, or willingness to get certified before joining

• *Experience**

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience (7\+ preferred)
• At least 15 to 20 third\-party audits as lead or support auditor (preferred)
• Background in electrical and electronics manufacturing, power and energy, chemicals, process industries, automation, infrastructure or renewable energy is a plus

• *Skills**

• Good knowledge of ISO standards and audit methods
• Strong communication, analysis and report writing
• Able to manage time across audits at multiple locations
• Comfortable with MS Office

• *Travel**

Extensive travel is required (60 to 80%) across India, and occasionally overseas.

Pay: ₹800,000\.00 \- ₹1,000,000\.00 per year
