Job Opening – Quality Control Engineer (Fabrication Industry)

• *About the Role**

Fabmax Enterprises is seeking a **Quality Control Engineer** to strengthen our QA/QC systems in fabrication projects. The candidate will ensure compliance with **ISO 9001:2015, ASME,** while driving continuous improvement in quality processes.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Review and implement **WPS, PQR, and ITP** documentation.
• Conduct inspections for **raw material, welding (FCAW, GTAW, SAW), and consumables**.
• Supervise **NDT activities** (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) and maintain records.
• Ensure **material traceability, CAPA, and audit‑ready documentation**.
• Coordinate with clients, third‑party inspectors, and vendors for compliance.
• Train shop floor teams on **quality standards and fabrication practices**.
• Support QA/QC reporting including **RT summary, weld plan updates, and shop travel cards**.

• *Candidate Requirements**

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in **fabrication/manufacturing industry**.
• Strong knowledge of **structural fabrication, ducting, chimney stacks, tanks, silos**.
• Familiarity with **ISO audits and compliance systems**.
• NDT Level II certification preferred.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
