Job Description

  • *Key Responsibilities:**

Quality Control Management **Monitor and control incoming, in\-process, and final product quality.** Ensure products meet customer specifications and engineering standards. **Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.** Monitor rejection, rework, and defect analysis.

  • *Inspection \& Testing**
  • *Supervise inspection activities on the shop floor.** Ensure proper usage and calibration of measuring instruments. **Review inspection reports, quality records, and test reports.** Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • *Quality System \& Compliance**
  • *Maintain ISO quality systems and documentation.** Ensure compliance with customer quality standards and procedures. **Handle internal, external, customer, and certification audits.** Implement Kaizen, 5S, Lean, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities.
  • *Team Handling \& Training**
  • *Lead and supervise quality engineers, inspectors, and QC staff.** Conduct training programs on quality standards and inspection methods. **Coordinate with production, maintenance, purchase, and dispatch departments.** Ensure discipline and efficiency within the quality department.
  • *Customer Complaint Handling**
  • *Investigate customer complaints and quality failures.** Prepare corrective and preventive action reports. **Coordinate with customers regarding quality concerns and improvements. Reporting \& Documentation** Prepare daily/monthly quality MIS reports. **Maintain inspection records, SOPs, calibration records, and quality documentation.** Analyse quality data and suggest process improvements.
  • *Required Skills:**
  • *Strong knowledge of quality control systems in engineering industry.** Strong knowledge of Integrated Management System. (IMS) **Knowledge of ISO standards and quality documentation.** Expertise in measuring instruments and inspection techniques. **Leadership and team management skills.** Problem\-solving and analytical ability. **Good communication and coordination skills.**
  • *Knowledge of Measuring Instruments:**

Vernier Caliper **Micrometer** Height Gauge **Bore Gauge** Dial Indicator **Surface Plate** Thread Gauge **Slip Gauge**

  • *Key Performance Indicators (KPI):** Rejection and rework reduction **Customer complaint reduction** Audit compliance status **Process quality improvement** Inspection accuracy **Team productivity** On\-time quality clearance
  • *Working Conditions:**
  • *Factory / Shop Floor environment** Frequent coordination with production teams **Audit and customer interaction responsibilities**

Pay: ₹500,000\.00 \- ₹900,000\.00 per year
