Quality Engineer (Oil and Gas)

Experience: 5 to 10 years in the oil and gas industry (upstream, midstream, downstream, or EPC)

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain QA/QC systems in line with ISO 9001, API, ASME, and client specifications

Review and approve Inspection \& Test Plans (ITPs), WPS/PQR, and material certificates

Inspect fabrication, welding, piping, pressure vessels, and coating work

Witness NDT (RT, UT, MPI, DPT), hydro tests, and pre\-commissioning checks

Handle NCRs and CAPA, and lead root cause analysis

Conduct internal audits and support third\-party and client audits

Prepare quality documentation and final dossiers (MDR)

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and inspection agencies

Requirements

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, or a related field

5\+ years of QA/QC experience in oil and gas projects

Strong knowledge of ASME B31\.3, API 510/570/650, AWS D1\.1, and NDT methods

Certifications such as CSWIP/AWS\-CWI, ASNT Level II, or Lead Auditor (ISO 9001\) are preferred

Experience with PMI, PWHT, and hardness testing is an advantage

Strong reporting and communication skills

Willingness to work at project sites and offshore/onshore/Refinery
