*Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail\-oriented Quality Control Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the pressure vessel and heat exchanger manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance with codes and standards, and maintaining inspection and testing procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
*Key Responsibilities:**
Perform in\-process and final inspections of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
Ensure compliance with codes such as ASME Section VIII, TEMA, and relevant standards
Review and verify material test certificates (MTC), WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications
Conduct dimensional inspection, fit\-up checks, and visual inspection of welds
Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT)
Prepare and maintain quality documents like ITP (Inspection Test Plan), QAP, and inspection reports Handle third\-party inspections and client audits
Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and inspection tools
Identify non\-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Maintain proper documentation as per project and quality requirements**.**
*Required Skills:**
Knowledge of ASME codes, TEMA standards, and pressure vessel fabrication
Strong understanding of welding processes and NDT methods
Experience in handling third\-party inspection agencies
Good knowledge of QA/QC documentation (ITP, QAP, NCR, CAPA)
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GA drawings Basic knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001\)
