As a Quality Engineering Manager within Optum Technology in Bangalore, India, you will lead a high\-performing team of quality engineers dedicated to delivering world\-class clinical imaging, radiology, and workflow solutions. Your team is responsible for driving the quality, reliability, and test automation of critical clinical products including Change Healthcare Radiology Solution, Change Healthcare Enterprise Viewer, Stratus Imaging Viewer, Imaging Fellow, and Workflow Intelligence. By leveraging advanced automation strategies and integrating modern technologies, your team directly ensures that clinicians and healthcare providers have high\-performance, seamless, and reliable tools to deliver critical patient care. - *Primary Responsibilities:**
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of quality engineers, establishing high quality assurance standards and providing career development and performance coaching
- Integrate enterprise AI tools, set AI goals in development plans, and align hiring with AI competencies, actively removing barriers to accelerate adoption
- Champion the ethical use of AI by embedding transparency, fairness, and accountability throughout the entire AI lifecycle
- Strategically use AI to solve problems, unlock opportunities, and deliver tangible business value
- Champion AI as a core driver of their team's success and proactively shape how that AI is developed, deployed, and utilized
- Collaborate closely with software development, product management, and business stakeholders to define robust testing strategies, regression suites, and release readiness criteria for complex products (including Change Healthcare Radiology Solution, Change Healthcare Enterprise Viewer, Stratus Imaging Viewer, Imaging Fellow, and Workflow Intelligence)
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Establish and monitor quality engineering metrics, KPIs, and reporting structures to drive continuous improvement and transparency across delivery pipelines
- Drive a "shift\-left" testing culture, promoting automated unit testing, API testing, security testing, and performance testing early in the software development lifecycle
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 8\+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Software Development
- 3\+ years of experience in a leadership, people management, or team lead capacity within a technology organization
- Experience with Technologies such as Windows Operating Systems, python, Visual VBS, Java scripts, JIRA, TFS, GitHub
- Experience working in a global, matrixed enterprise environment in the healthcare, pharmacy, or financial services sector
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 4\+ years of hands\-on experience designing and executing automated test frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
- Experience with healthcare imaging, radiology systems, or clinical workflow solutions (e.g., Change Healthcare Radiology Solution, Change Healthcare Enterprise Viewer, Stratus Imaging Viewer, Imaging Fellow, and Workflow Intelligence.)
- Experience leading initiatives that integrate AI\-powered code assistants, intelligent test automation tools, or automated test generation helpers to improve testing efficiency
- Solid understanding of ethical technology practices, including data privacy, security, and governance considerations when adopting new technologies or AI tools
- Proven excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse technical and business teams
