The Salon Receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for clients, managing appointments, handling front desk operations, coordinating with salon staff, and ensuring smooth daily salon activities. The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a customer\-focused approach.
\- Welcome every client warmly and professionally upon arrival.
\- Maintain polite, friendly, and professional communication at all times.
\- Ensure clients feel comfortable and valued during their salon visit.
\- Schedule, reschedule, confirm, and cancel appointments through phone calls, WhatsApp, and walk\-in inquiries.
\- Maintain an organized appointment calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts.
\- Send appointment reminders to clients when required.
\- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
\- Provide accurate information regarding salon services, pricing, packages, memberships, and ongoing offers.
\- Respond to client inquiries through phone, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
\- Generate invoices using salon software or manual billing systems.
\- Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment methods accurately.
\- Ensure proper reconciliation of daily collections.
\- Maintain and update client profiles, contact details, service history, preferences, and feedback.
\- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of client information.
\- Coordinate effectively with hairstylists, beauticians, therapists, and salon management.
\- Communicate appointment schedules and client requirements to the relevant team members.
\- Support smooth salon operations through effective teamwork.
\- Promote salon packages, memberships, retail products, and additional services.
\- Recommend suitable add\-on services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
\- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
\- Ensure brochures, price lists, promotional materials, and client forms are properly displayed.
\- Address client concerns and complaints calmly and professionally.
\- Escalate unresolved issues to the Salon Manager when necessary.
\- Follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
\- Prepare daily reports on appointments, sales, payments, and client visits.
\- Maintain cash reports and closing records accurately.
\- Complete all end\-of\-day front desk responsibilities before closing.
\- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\- Strong customer service orientation.
\- Basic computer and billing software knowledge.
\- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
\- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
\- Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced salon environment.
\- Minimum HSC (12th Pass) or equivalent.
\- Previous experience in a salon, spa, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
