Job Summary

We are looking for a polite, professional, and patient\-friendly **Hospital Receptionist** to manage the front desk and provide efficient assistance to patients, attendants, visitors, and hospital staff. The receptionist will be responsible for patient registration, appointment coordination, telephone handling, basic administrative work, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet patients, attendants, and visitors professionally.
  • Handle incoming calls and transfer them to the concerned department/person.
  • Manage patient registration and update patient information accurately.
  • Schedule and coordinate doctor appointments.
  • Guide patients and attendants to the appropriate department, ward, OPD, ICU, billing, laboratory, etc.
  • Handle patient and visitor queries politely and professionally.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, TPA, and other hospital departments.
  • Maintain reception records, registers, and necessary documentation.
  • Assist with billing and payment\-related queries, as required.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive hospital information.
  • Manage the reception area and ensure a professional environment.
  • Handle emergency\-related calls and immediately coordinate with the concerned department.
  • Perform other front\-office and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum **12th Pass**; Graduate preferred.
  • Previous experience as a **Hospital Receptionist / Front Desk Executive** will be preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office.
  • Good communication skills in **Hindi and English**.
  • Pleasant personality and professional behavior.
  • Ability to work in a busy hospital environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good coordination and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Patient\-friendly and polite communication.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Basic knowledge of hospital departments and medical terminology.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Good record\-keeping and organizational skills.

Reporting To

  • *HR Manager / Front Office Manager / Hospital Administration**
  • *Note:** The selected candidate will be required to follow hospital rules, regulations, duty roster, and management policies.

Pay: ₹8,000\.00 \- ₹16,000\.00 per month
