The Resident Engineer will be responsible for providing on\-site IT support services, including call logging, asset management, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting computer hardware, peripherals, and networking issues. The role involves day\-to\-day user support and ensuring smooth functioning of IT infrastructure.
*Key Responsibilities:**
Handle helpdesk operations including call logging and issue tracking
Perform asset management and maintain IT inventory records
Coordinate with vendors for IT hardware servicing and warranty claims
Provide first\-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
Troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) and connectivity issues
Install and configure printers, scanners, and basic software
Join systems to domain and configure VPN access for remote users
Maintain documentation for all support activities and asset records
*Requirements:**
Diploma or B Tech
0–1 years of experience in IT helpdesk or desktop support role
Basic understanding of networking, Windows OS, and domain environments
Familiarity with antivirus tools, VPN, and printer configuration
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
