Job Title: Retail Sales Associate – Premium Saree Retail

Role Overview
We are looking for energetic and customer\-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our premium saree showroom. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion, excellent customer service skills, and strong knowledge of sarees and ethnic wear.
The role involves assisting customers throughout their shopping journey, achieving sales targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales \& Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers in selecting sarees and ethnic wear based on their preferences and occasions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
- Upsell and cross\-sell related products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain detailed knowledge of silk sarees, bridal collections, soft silks, designer sarees, fabrics, motifs, and current trends.
- Explain product features, weaving styles, zari quality, and pricing to customers confidently.
- Stay updated on new arrivals and promotional collections.
Customer Experience
- Deliver a premium and personalized shopping experience.
- Assist bridal customers and high\-value shoppers with patience and professionalism.
- Handle customer queries and concerns effectively.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the purchase process.
Store Operations
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, product displays, and visual merchandising standards.
- Arrange and replenish stock on the sales floor.
- Support stock audits, inventory checks, and stock movement activities.
- Follow billing, POS, and company SOP procedures accurately.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Store Managers and team members to achieve store goals.
- Participate in product training and sales development programs.
- Support store activities during festive seasons, promotions, and special events.
Qualifications \& Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in saree, textile, ethnic wear, jewelry, or premium fashion retail.
- Knowledge of silk sarees, bridal collections, and ethnic wear preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer\-focused with a positive attitude and sales\-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced retail environment.
- Fluent in Tamil and English.
- Hindi speaking is mandatory.
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and festive seasons.
