Job Description
- *About the Role**
Veelo Mobility is expanding its E\-Rickshaw battery leasing operations across West Bengal. We are looking for a Sales Executive who has hands\-on experience in the E\-Rickshaw ecosystem — specifically someone who has worked in sales of spare parts, batteries, or related components, dealing with OEMs, dealers, or distributors. If you understand how the E\-Rickshaw parts trade works on the ground in West Bengal and know how to build trust with dealers and customers alike, this role is for you.
- *Role Definition**
- Building and managing a network of E\-Rickshaw batteries dealers and distributors across assigned territories in West Bengal for Veelo's battery leasing product
- Driving customer acquisition through dealer partners — leveraging existing relationships in the E\-Rickshaw parts trade
- Ensuring 100% completion of the underwriting/onboarding process for every customer
- *Role Deliverables**
- Identify, approach, and onboard new E\-Rickshaw dealers/distributors across West Bengal as Veelo channel partners
- Explain Veelo's battery leasing model and the Veelo App onboarding process to dealer partners
- Assist dealers in onboarding end customers (E\-Rickshaw operators) onto the Veelo App
- Support customers on call who face difficulties using the Veelo App while onboarding
- Explain the Veelo underwriting process to dealers and ensure timely submission of completed underwriting documents to Veelo HQ
- *Key Measurement Metrics**
- Number of new dealers/distributors onboarded as Veelo channel partners per month
- Number of customers onboarded by dealers under the Sales Executive's supervision
- Timely submission of underwriting documents (within defined TAT)
- *Ideal Candidate Profile**
- *Experience (Must Have)**
- 1–4 years of field sales experience in E\-Rickshaw spare parts, batteries, or related EV components
- Prior experience dealing with E\-Rickshaw OEMs, dealers, or distributors in West Bengal
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a dealer/distributor network on the ground
- Familiarity with the E\-Rickshaw market dynamics, customer profiles, and trade channels in West Bengal
- **Skills \& Attributes**
- Strong communication skills in Bengali; working knowledge of Hindi preferred
- Comfortable with smartphone\-based apps and basic digital tools
- Self\-motivated, target\-driven, and able to work independently in the field
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory in West Bengal
- Ability to handle collections conversations and repossession situations professionally
- *Education**
