LRN is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Product team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for demonstrating to prospective customers how LRN’s solutions will address their business needs. In addition to partnering closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers also interface with Product Management, Engineering, Operations and Marketing. The Sales Engineer is a highly visible technical and product expert in the pre\-sales process, and a primary driver for internal advancement of customer requirements.
- *Requirements** **What you'll do:**
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of LRN’s products to prospects, clients, and employees.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand prospect / customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Response to RFPs and help coordinate responses from Product / Technology team members.
- Manage trial and demo sites.
- Learn the technical details concerning how our software works and what problems it solves for prospects and clients.
- Manage customer relations by soliciting and logging prospect / client feedback.
- Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to product managers.
- Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
- Collaborate with Technical Writer, Product Owners, Product Managers and Business Analysts to keep knowledge up to date.
- Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including answering technical questions and addressing prospect concerns.
- Driven to self\-educate on new solutions and releases.
+ Create videos and other multimedia content to help customers and sales teams better understand the company's software solutions.
- *What we're looking for:**
- 4\+ years of experience in sales engineering, software sales with a focus on B2B SaaS
- Familiar with the Ethics \& Compliance industry
- Excellent presentation skills, understanding of LMS platforms, reporting, data management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with project management solutions a plus
- Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions.
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy\-to\-understand manner
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands\-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
