Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result\-oriented Sales Engineer with experience in the Oil \& Gas industry. The candidate should have good technical knowledge of engineering products, industrial equipment, and oil \& gas sector requirements.

The ideal candidate should be capable of developing new business opportunities, handling existing customers, preparing technical and commercial quotations, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oil \& Gas industry.
• Generate leads and establish business relationships with EPC contractors, oil companies, refineries, and engineering companies.
• Handle existing customers and develop long\-term business relationships.
• Promote and sell engineering products, industrial equipment, and manufacturing solutions.
• Understand customer technical requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tenders.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and quality departments for customer requirements.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and payments.
• Conduct customer visits, meetings, and technical presentations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Maintain customer databases, sales reports, and regular follow\-up records.

Required Skills \& Competencies

• Good knowledge of the Oil \& Gas industry.
• Experience in industrial sales and business development.
• Knowledge of engineering products and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in preparing techno\-commercial offers and quotations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• MBA in Sales \& Marketing will be an added advantage.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience dealing with the following sectors will be preferred:

• Oil \& Gas Companies
• Refineries and Petrochemical Industries
• EPC Contractors
• Engineering Procurement Companies
• Industrial Manufacturing Companies
• Fabrication and Process Equipment Industries
