We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Executive to join our dynamic Freight Forwarding team. The ideal candidate will have 2\-3 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry and will play a key role in expanding our customer base, enhancing relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, providing tailored logistics solutions, and driving revenue growth for the company.
- **Client Acquisition \& Relationship Management:**
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify and target potential customers within the freight forwarding and logistics market.
- Conduct sales meetings and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing company services.
- **Sales Strategy \& Lead Generation:**
- Actively generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Research and identify market trends to stay ahead of competitors.
- Prepare and deliver customized freight solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring value propositions are clearly communicated.
- **Sales Reporting \& Documentation:**
- Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date records of client interactions, sales progress, and revenue forecasts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales contracts and customer orders.
- **Negotiation \& Closing:**
- Negotiate rates and contracts with clients, ensuring both profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Finalize agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- **Collaboration with Operations Team:**
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth handling and delivery of logistics services.
- Provide support during the execution of shipments to maintain customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
- **Market \& Product Knowledge:**
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the freight forwarding industry.
- Continuously educate yourself on the company’s product offerings and service capabilities.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 2\-3 years of proven sales experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or related industry.
- A strong network within the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus.
- **Skills:**
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations, including shipping methods, documentation, and customs procedures.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Education:**
- A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
