Job Description

• *Position\-** **Salesforce Consultant (Freelancer)**

• *Experience\- 5\+ Years**

• *Location\- Remote**

• *Contract Duration\- 4 Months**

• *A Salesforce Engineer to deliver a client project for a US\-based enterprise. The client is replacing a third\-party presales tool (Vivun) with native Salesforce functionality. The solution relies on standard configuration and Flow, using Apex only where configuration cannot meet the requirement. The candidate will work with the client’s business leads and their internal Salesforce team, who will own the solution after go\-live.**

• *The project has three phases:**

• **Activity Tracking (priority, due by year\-end). About 21 solution consultants log time against an opportunity, an account, or no record for internal work. Includes calendar capture and reporting.**

• **Opportunity Automation. When an opportunity is closed and replaced, the related data is carried over to the new one so metrics are not lost.**

• **Collaboration Requests. About 60\+ sales reps request solution consultant support. Includes request routing and opportunity team updates.**

• *Key responsibilities**

• Join requirement workshops and turn business questions into documented solution designs.

• Review the existing org, including Vivun package dependencies, the legacy activity setup, and automation that may conflict with new Flows.

• Assess Einstein Activity Capture with Outlook: licensing, custom\-field support, how activities are stored, and reporting fit.

• Configure custom fields, objects, record types, dependent picklists, validation rules, page layouts and Dynamic Forms.

* Build Flows (screen, record\-triggered and scheduled), including

• a quick action to clone a replacement opportunity with its team members and related records

• Opportunity Team Member automation

• error handling and an audit trail

• automated reminders for missing time entries

• Configure queues, assignment logic and email/in\-app notifications for collaboration requests.

• Write Apex with test classes where Flow is not enough.

• Build reports and dashboards for SC activity, demo counts, win/loss and time spent.

• Update profiles and permission sets as needed for new functionality.

• Support UAT, fix defects, and deploy through the client’s release process.

• Produce technical design documentation and hand over to the client’s Salesforce team.

• *Required qualifications**

• Hands\-on Salesforce experience, mainly in Sales Cloud.

• Strong knowledge of Opportunities, Opportunity Teams, Accounts, Contacts, and Tasks/Events.

• Advanced Flow skills: screen, record\-triggered and scheduled flows, subflows, fault paths, bulk\-safe design.

• Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, triggers and test classes.

• Experience with record cloning that includes related records.

• Experience with reports, dashboards and custom report types.

• Experience with queues, assignment logic and notifications.

• Deployment experience using change sets, Salesforce CLI or DevOps Center.

• Comfortable working directly with US\-based business stakeholders.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator.
