We are seeking an aggressive, results\-driven, and experienced **General Insurance Sales Manager** to lead and scale our sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across our retail and corporate general insurance portfolios (including Motor, Health, Property, Commercial, and Marine insurance). You will manage, mentor, and motivate a high\-performing team of sales agents, develop strategic distribution channels, and cultivate strong relationships with brokers, corporate clients, and institutional partners.
- **Sales Strategy \& Revenue Growth:** Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets. Identify and tap into new market segments and distribution channels.
- **Team Leadership \& Mentorship:** Recruit, train, and supervise a team of general insurance sales executives or POSP (Point of Sale Person) agents. Monitor individual and team performance, conducting regular reviews to ensure high productivity.
- **Channel \& Partner Management:** Build and manage relationships with key intermediaries, including insurance brokers, auto dealerships (for motor insurance tying), banks (bancassurance), and corporate agents.
- **Corporate \& High\-Value Client Acquisition:** Direct\-sell and pitch tailored commercial lines of insurance (e.g., group health, property liability, marine insurance) to corporate clients and SMES.
- **Market Intelligence \& Product Feedback:** Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and changing customer demands. Provide feedback to the underwriting and product development teams to design competitive insurance products.
- **Compliance \& Process Quality:** Ensure all sales activities, documentation, and policy issuances strictly adhere to company policies and regional insurance regulatory guidelines.
- **Reporting \& Analytics:** Generate weekly and monthly management information (MI) reports tracking core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conversion rates, and client retention/renewal metrics.
- *Required Skills \& Qualifications**
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. (Professional insurance certifications like ACII or local regulatory licenses are a major plus).
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2\+ years of proven experience in insurance sales, specifically within **SME or Health Insurance**.
- **Product Knowledge:** Deep understanding of retail products (Motor, Health, Home) and commercial products (Property, Liability, Fire, Marine, Engineering).
- **Technical Proficiency:** Strong familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), digital insurance quote portals, and Microsoft Office Suite.
