SAP ABAP Development for HANA

We are looking for a skilled **SAP ABAP Developer (HANA)** to design, develop, and optimize high\-performance SAP applications using **ABAP on HANA**. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern ABAP development, SAP HANA optimization, CDS Views, AMDP, and SQLScript, along with exposure to AI\-enabled SAP solutions and cloud\-ready architectures.

This role involves building scalable, production\-grade SAP applications while leveraging modern development practices, HANA pushdown techniques, and AI\-assisted enterprise workflows.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design and develop high\-performance SAP ABAP applications optimized for SAP HANA.
• Develop efficient database objects using CDS Views, Associations, Annotations, and Authorization Concepts.
• Implement performance\-critical logic using AMDP and SQLScript.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance using HANA Pushdown techniques.

Modern ABAP Development

• Develop clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable ABAP code.
• Build and expose OData Services and REST APIs.
• Follow enterprise coding standards, secure coding practices, and SDLC processes.
• Perform code reviews and implement best development practices.

Data Modeling \& Integration

• Design enterprise data models using CDS Views.
• Develop reusable business entities for reporting, analytics, and integrations.
• Integrate SAP applications with SAP and Non\-SAP systems using APIs and enterprise integration frameworks.

AI\-Enabled SAP Solutions

• Develop AI\-enabled SAP applications using LLM integrations.
• Implement Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool orchestration, and context\-aware AI services.
• Build AI workflows with proper governance, validation, and enterprise security controls.
• Develop prompts, tool schemas, and context management strategies for AI\-powered SAP applications.

Performance \& Quality

• Develop unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Perform application performance tuning and query optimization.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and error\-handling mechanisms.
• Support production deployments and incident resolution.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Functional Consultants, UX Teams, Integration Teams, Data Engineers, and Platform Teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions.

• *Required Experience**

• Minimum **3 years** of experience in SAP ABAP Development.
• Strong experience in SAP HANA development.
• Hands\-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP, SQLScript, and OData Services.
• Experience in SAP performance optimization and HANA Pushdown.
• Knowledge of SAP integrations and enterprise application development.
• Exposure to AI\-powered SAP solutions is an added advantage.
