We are seeking a talented and driven SAP CPI (Process Orchestration) Software Engineer to join our Information Technology team at Fossil Group in Bangalore, India. If you are passionate about SAP integration technologies and enjoy building scalable, high\-performing enterprise solutions, this could be the perfect role for you. In this dynamic and global company, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting SAP integration solutions that enable seamless business operations across multiple enterprise applications.
This is a hybrid position based in our Bangalore office. You will be required to work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This role reports directly to the Engineering Manager – Enterprise Integrations.
What you will do in this role
SAP Integration Development
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI integration solutions to support global business processes.
- Build and enhance interfaces using Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, XSLT, XML, IDOCs, Proxies, and REST/SOAP services.
- Configure communication channels and adapters including File, RFC, IDOC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, JMS, FTP, and SFTP.
Solution Delivery \& Support
- Collaborate with functional consultants and solution architects to understand business requirements and deliver robust integration solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications, perform unit testing, and provide comprehensive technical documentation.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments, and production releases.
Production Support \& Continuous Improvement
- Monitor interface performance, troubleshoot integration issues, and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Drive improvements to integration performance, monitoring, and operational stability.
- Support migration initiatives, knowledge transfer activities, and ongoing platform enhancements.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of hands\-on experience in SAP CPI integration development.
- Strong expertise in SAP PI/PO architecture, SAP CPI, interface development, and middleware technologies.
- Experience with Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping, XML, IDOCs, Proxies, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proficiency in configuring and supporting SAP adapters, communication channels, and interface monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills in SAP integration environments.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, NWDS, BPM, SLD, ABAP, or Advantco Adapter migration is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
