  • *Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and manage SAP Application Management Services (AMS) engagements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end\-to\-end AMS delivery, ensuring SLA compliance, managing customer relationships, leading cross\-functional teams, driving continuous service improvements, and ensuring the successful delivery of support and enhancement initiatives across SAP landscapes.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Lead SAP AMS engagements, ensuring high\-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage end\-to\-end AMS operations, including incident, problem, change, release, and service request management.
  • Own SLA/KPI governance and ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders and conduct regular governance meetings, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly service reviews.
  • Manage a cross\-functional SAP AMS team across functional, technical, BASIS, integration, and support streams.
  • Oversee resource planning, capacity management, workload distribution, and team utilization.
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives through automation, process optimization, and knowledge management.
  • Monitor project health, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate change management, release planning, deployment activities, and production support.
  • Review and approve effort estimates, enhancement requests, and solution proposals.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, organizational quality standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Prepare and present service performance dashboards, SLA reports, RCA reports, and executive status updates.
  • Manage escalations effectively and ensure timely resolution of critical production issues.
  • Collaborate with customer leadership, SAP functional teams, technical teams, infrastructure teams, and third\-party vendors.
  • Support transition activities, knowledge transfer, and service stabilization for new AMS engagements.
  • Drive team development through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
  • *Required Skills**
  • 10–15 years of SAP experience, including significant experience managing SAP AMS engagements.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, PP, EWM, TM, IBP, SuccessFactors, or other SAP solutions.
  • Proven experience managing large, cross\-functional SAP support teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL\-based service management processes.
  • Experience with SLA/KPI management, customer governance, and service delivery.
  • Hands\-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, budgeting, and resource management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced global delivery environment.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Experience managing SAP S/4HANA AMS engagements.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum certification.
  • ITIL Foundation or Intermediate certification.
  • SAP certification in any functional or technical module is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in global delivery and offshore/onshore engagement models.
  • *Educational Qualification**
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
