Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **SAP S/4HANA MES Liaison / MES Upgrade Assessment Lead** to serve as the key bridge between **SAP S/4HANA** and **Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)**. The ideal candidate will lead MES upgrade assessments, ensure seamless ERP\-MES integration, support end\-to\-end testing, and provide strategic recommendations for MES modernization initiatives.

As part of the **MES Center of Excellence**, you will collaborate with business, manufacturing, and technical teams to ensure successful MES upgrade planning, integration, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between SAP S/4HANA and MES teams.
• Lead MES upgrade assessments, readiness reviews, and modernization planning.
• Evaluate existing MES capabilities, integrations, scalability, and performance.
• Design and support ERP\-MES integrations using APIs, IDocs, middleware, and event\-driven architectures.
• Manage end\-to\-end testing, interface validation, data reconciliation, and production readiness.
• Coordinate cutover planning, risk management, deployment, and hypercare support.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, business, and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, assessment reports, and executive\-level recommendations.

Required Skills

• 12\+ years of IT experience with strong Manufacturing domain expertise.
• Hands\-on experience with **SAP S/4HANA** or **SAP ECC**.
• Strong experience in **Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)**.
• Experience conducting **MES Upgrade Assessments** and upgrade planning.
• Expertise in **ERP\-MES Integration**.
• Experience with **SAP IDocs, BAPIs, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services**.
• Hands\-on experience with middleware platforms such as:
• SAP CPI
• SAP PO
• MuleSoft
• Boomi
• Kepware
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production data flows.
• Experience with testing strategy, cutover planning, deployment, and hypercare.
• Knowledge of **ISA\-95** manufacturing integration standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
