Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **SAP Test Automation Engineer** with strong hands\-on expertise in **UFT One, VBScript, and SAP test automation**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, and web\-based applications to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of SAP business processes.

The candidate should have experience in automation framework development, API testing, defect management, and collaboration with SAP functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using **UFT One and VBScript**.
• Automate SAP business processes across **SAP GUI and SAP Fiori** applications.
• Design, enhance, and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries.
• Configure and analyze UFT execution reports and customize test results reporting.
• Perform API and integration testing using **Postman and SoapUI** for REST and SOAP services.
• Validate SAP business processes, particularly in **SAP SD, MM, and FICO** modules.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, document test results, and track issues using **ALM and JIRA**.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and technical teams to resolve testing issues.
• Perform root\-cause analysis, debugging, and regression testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support timely delivery of quality software.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands\-on experience with **UFT One (Unified Functional Testing)**.
• Proficiency in **VBScript** for automation script development.
• Experience in SAP test automation for SAP GUI and SAP Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of web\-based application automation and framework development.
• Experience in UFT execution reporting, result analysis, and report customization.
• Hands\-on experience with API testing using Postman and/or SoapUI.
• Understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with SAP business processes, especially SD, MM, and FICO.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as ALM and JIRA.
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem\-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working closely with SAP functional and technical teams.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in regression testing, integration testing, and end\-to\-end testing.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Flexibility to provide occasional overlap with US business hours.
