Job Description: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Purpose:\-

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the development, design, and engineering of complex electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in power distribution system and interfaces.

Qualifications:\-

B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering (Essential)

M.Tech / M.E. in Electrical Engineering (Desirable)

Experience

Industry: Marine, Aeronautical, or Power Generation \& Distribution (PGD).

Leadership: Proven experience managing and leading a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities \& Technical Skills

1\. Electrical Design \& Analysis

2\. Design and interface electrical system schematics with multidisciplinary systems.

3\. Calculate consumer load requirements and design end\-to\-end power distribution networks.

4\. Select motors and starters based on precise pump specifications.

5\. Size and select cables based on specific load types.

6\. Select appropriate circuit breakers, including Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) and Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCBs), based on consumer profiles.

7\. Standards \& Compliance:\-

Apply national and international standards related to electrical equipment.

8\. Implement technical and application\-based knowledge of DC sources (batteries) and their distribution networks.

9\. Identify, understand, and integrate EMI/EMC compliance requirements into designs.

3\. Software \& Tools:\-

3D CAD Tools review Advanced proficiency CAD\-based design environment.

2D CAD: Full proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

Office Productivity:\-

Strong skills in MS Office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel.

4\. Soft Skills

Strong technical problem\-solving capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
