SDET - Python, Go (1 to 3 years)

Nutanix, a leader in enterprise cloud, is looking to hire an SDET for the Metadata team.

Nutanix welcomes builders, those who are unafraid to take on hard challenges and learn new technologies.**Your Role:*** Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and design innovative solutions for customer requirements

• Participate in feature design and delivery, influencing decisions with a strong bias towards quality and customer delight
• Design high\-level test approaches and implement detailed test plans based on the requirements to deliver high\-quality products in a fast\-paced environment
• Automate tests \- executing them as part of new feature delivery and enabling automated regression runs for subsequent releases
• Analyze failures, determine root cause and drive them to resolution
• Develop independent frameworks to improve development and testing processes
• Engage with customers and support when needed to solve production issues

• *What you’ll bring:*** Strong practical understanding of databases
• Ability to innovate and solve problems
• Love of programming \- must be rock solid in at least one of these programming languages: Python, Go, C, C\+\+, Java
• Hands\-on knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and a strong team player
• Acquaintance with Docker and/or Kubernetes is desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in\-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in\-office resources.
