### **Job Responsibilities :**

• *Purpose of the Role** \- To oversee processes, plans \& schedules and ensure management of all activities related to maintenance planning, systems and facilities, in a safe, efficient, and timely manner to ensure smooth execution of maintenance work at site as per the established REAM processes and procedures and overall operations quality, safety and regulatory frameworks

• **Functional Planning and Strategy** \-
• Provide inputs in creating maintenance planning's functional strategy \& create a roadmap to ensure adherence to overall objectives, goals

• Oversee end to end execution / implementation of maintenance plans

• Collaborate with leadership to identify new initiatives/ projects and set operational plans that meet these future demands

• Participate in operations' budgeting cycle \& process and provide inputs on budget allocation for own maintenance team

• Oversee deployment of own budget and ensure efficient utilization and minimum variance in target v/s actual

• Review the maintenance purchase requisitions as per business needs

• Ensure proper scaffolding management for the safety of on\-site workers and efficiency of the construction/maintenance process

• Manage ARC renewal approvals within the SLA

• Review applicability of RCAs and recommendations released for E\&M category incidents across the site

• **Turnaround \& Shutdown Planning** \-

\- Review and validate detailed turnaround/ shutdown plans, proposals, preparations and schedules, including shutdown manuals, scope of work, resource requirements, timelines, and budget estimates as per established processes \& procedures adhering to safety \& quality standards and in line with CoE \- REAM philosophy

• Oversee and optimise maintenance planning activities (Strategy \& Execution) at site level for all plants including resource planning, procurement and mobilization and manage allocation of common resources across plants

• Oversee REAM annual as well as multi\-year planning and budgeting exercise and also ensure seamless inventory management at site

• Coordinate with relevant departments/ stakeholders (internal \& external) to oversee smooth execution of pre, during and post shutdown activities; Liaise with internal and external agencies for shutdown requirements

• Monitor the progress of turnaround/ shutdown activities and ensure potential conflicts or issues are identified and addressed, as well as issue the close\-out report

• Review and ensure implementation of risk based asset strategies in CMMS in coordination with Reliability \& Maintenance groups and track their compliance/effectiveness; Participate in monitoring effectiveness of reliability excellence programs and suggest improvement initiatives/programs at site

• **Audit \& Compliance** \-
• Plan and oversee system audits and benchmarking studies at site and identify action plan for improvement; Review the root cause analysis and provide recommendations

• Review and ensure adherence to statutory and HSE compliance in REAM and facilitate system compliance at site

• Oversee contract management and provide guidance to resolve challenges when necessary, as well as ensure compliance of CSM

• **System \& Performance Review** \-
• Review development and facilitate implementation of CMMS, APM \& other related systems for site

• Oversee master data management in CMMS/ other Systems and ensure master data integrity

• Evaluate performance on key metrics, KPIs/PPIs and E\&M Data and suggest improvement plans

• Review IMS implementation and performance at site and ensure compliance

• **Policies, Processes and Procedures** \-
• Implement approved policies, processes, procedures and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of policies, processes and procedures taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

• Monitor day\-to\-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures

• **People Management** \-
• Instil a culture of continuous development and high performance within own team

• Participate in recruitment activities \& ensure retention / engagement of own team

• Set performance objectives of own team, evaluate / appraise team members and provide regular feedback \& guidance

• Guide, mentor and develop own team to take larger and complex responsibilities

### **Education Requirement :**

• Necessary: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil including variant)

### **Experience Requirement :**

• Necessary: \- 9 to 12 years of experience in maintenance/ planning in similar or leading industries
• Atleast 5 years of experience in team management
