Senior Accountant

WE ARE HIRING – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

• *US Accounting \| QuickBooks \| Financial Reporting**

• *An accredited College in USA** is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail\-oriented **Senior Accountant** to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands\-on experience in **QuickBooks, US accounting practices, financial reporting, and reconciliations**, with the ability to independently manage accounting operations for a US\-based organization.

• *This is not US hours shift. This position is flexible hours and work hours will finish by 9pm IST**

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations using QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Manage payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow reports, and financial analyses.
• Assist with US tax filings, year\-end closing, and financial audits.
• Coordinate with US\-based CPAs, auditors, and management.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal financial controls.
• Prepare management reports and monitor financial performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• **Minimum 8 years of accounting / finance experience.**
• **Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.**
• Strong knowledge of US accounting practices and US GAAP.
• Experience managing accounting for US\-based companies is highly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA, CA Inter, or equivalent accounting / finance qualification or experience
• Experience working with US\-based institutions or businesses.
• Familiarity with US financial/ accounting, taxation, and audit requirements.
• Experience coordinating with international finance teams.
