Job Title: Accountant

Salary: 30,000 to 45,000 per month (Based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the hospital's financial planning and budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting \& Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Prepare and update ledgers, journals, and cash books.
Reconcile bank statements and hospital accounts regularly.
Manage day\-to\-day accounting activities using accounting software.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate MIS reports and financial performance reports for management.
Monitor departmental expenses and identify cost\-saving opportunities.
Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting.
Billing \& Revenue Management
Oversee patient billing, collections, and revenue reconciliation.
Verify insurance claims, TPA settlements, and reimbursement records.
Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
Ensure accuracy in cash collections and deposit records.
Compliance \& Taxation
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns and regulatory reports within deadlines.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Maintain financial documentation and records for compliance purposes.
Payroll Management
Process employee salaries and payroll\-related activities.
Ensure accurate deductions and statutory contributions.
Maintain payroll records and employee reimbursement documentation.
Hospital Financial Operations
Monitor procurement payments and vendor accounts.
Track inventory\-related financial transactions.
Support management in cost analysis and profitability assessment.
Assist in developing financial policies and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or related field.
M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or CMA qualification preferred.
3–7 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential financial information.
Preferred Experience
Experience with hospital billing systems, insurance claims, and TPA processes.
Experience in healthcare, diagnostic centers, IVF clinics, or hospitals is an added advantage.
