Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented \*Senior Accountant\* to join our Finance \& Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting operations, GST compliance, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

\* Key Responsibilities\*

\* Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations, journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations.

\* Handle high\-volume accounting transactions, with a minimum of 100 entries per day.

\* Manage GST compliance, including GSTR\-1, GSTR\-2B reconciliation, GSTR\-3B, and related GST return processes.

\* Handle TDS calculations, deductions, returns, and other applicable statutory compliances.

\* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

\* Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure accurate maintenance of financial records.

\* Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, budgets, and financial reports.

\* Support process improvements and accounting system implementation.

\*Requirements\*

\* B. Com graduate; candidates with relevant postgraduate qualifications may also apply.

\* Minimum \*8 years of experience\* in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.

\* Candidates with a \*manufacturing industry or CA firm background\* will be preferred.

\* Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

\* Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems, such as Oracle or equivalent.

\* Local candidates from Kolkata and nearby areas are preferred.
