A growing IT services company is looking for a sharp, completely self\-directed **Senior Accountant** to step in and completely own day\-to\-day accounting and payroll compliance.
This is an individual\-contributor, highly hands\-on role. There is no large finance team or hand\-holding here. We need someone who can independently figure things out, set up reporting frameworks where they don’t exist, and keep our books immaculate.
This position is ideal for an experienced finance professional who genuinely thrives in a flexible, fractional, or part\-time environment long\-term.
- **End\-to\-End Indian Accounting:** Own daily bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- **Tax \& Statutory Compliance:** Independently manage computations, reconciliations, and filings for **GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax (PT)**.
- **Payroll Processing:** Take full charge of end\-to\-end monthly payroll execution for our growing team.
- **System Setup \& Reporting:** Build and refine Excel/Google Sheets reports and financial tracking systems from scratch.
- **Audit Coordination:** Streamline financial documentation and coordinate seamlessly with statutory auditors.
- *Required Skills \& Experience:**
- **Experience:** 5 to 7 years of solid, hands\-on experience in corporate accounting and finance. Prior experience working inside a company with **50–200 employees** is highly preferred.
- **Tax Execution:** Proven track record of handling Indian corporate tax compliance directly—we need execution, not high\-level advisory (**Not looking for a Chartered Accountant**).
- **Fractional Mindset:** If you have 4\+ years of experience, you should ideally already be running 1–3 fractional clients and genuinely want this flexible working model long\-term.
- **Software Mastery:** Strong, practical command of **MS Excel / Google Sheets** (you should be building complex reports, not just doing data entry).
- **Tool Familiarity:** Hands\-on experience with cloud and banking tools like **Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, HDFC Bank, and Chase.com** is a major plus.
- **Work Style:** Deeply self\-directed, reliable, and capable of working completely independently from a remote setup.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance). Good academic grades in college are preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
