We are a U.S.\-based accounting and hospitality management company providing accounting, financial reporting, and advisory services to hotels, restaurants, franchise organizations, and hospitality management companies throughout the United States.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards, financial reporting, and hospitality accounting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting U.S.\-based clients and preparing financial statements for hotels, restaurants, and multi\-unit operations.
- *This role requires an individual who is highly analytical, detail\-oriented, technologically advanced, and comfortable utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and accounting workflows.**
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting \& Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Prepare Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and supporting schedules.
- Perform month\-end and year\-end closing procedures.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed asset schedules, and depreciation entries.
- Analyze financial results and investigate unusual variances.
- Prepare management reporting packages for hotel owners, restaurant operators, and executives.
Hospitality \& Restaurant Accounting
- Reconcile daily sales from POS systems.
- Review revenue from restaurants, catering, delivery platforms, gift cards, and loyalty programs.
- Reconcile hotel room revenue, occupancy reports, ADR, RevPAR, and departmental revenues.
- Analyze food cost percentages, labor costs, payroll expenses, and operating margins.
- Review franchise fees, management fees, royalty expenses, and brand assessments.
- Understand departmental accounting structures used by Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and independent hotel operators.
General Ledger \& Reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger integrity.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile credit card processors and merchant accounts.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable balances.
- Review balance sheet accounts monthly.
Budgeting \& Analysis
- Assist in annual budgets and forecasting.
- Prepare variance analysis reports.
- Analyze labor productivity and operating expenses.
- Monitor key hospitality financial metrics.
- Provide recommendations for improving profitability and financial controls.
Client Management
- Serve as lead accountant for assigned U.S. clients.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Respond to client accounting inquiries.
- Train junior accounting staff.
- Coordinate with U.S.\-based management teams.

Required QualificationsEducation

- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA India)
- MBA Finance
- M.Com (Master of Commerce)
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with strong U.S. accounting experience
Preferred
- CA qualification
- CPA (U.S.) coursework or certification
- ACCA certification
Experience
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience.
- Minimum 3 years supporting U.S.\-based companies.
- Experience preparing U.S. financial statements.
- Experience with hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or franchise accounting.
- Experience working in accounting firms, BPOs, KPOs, or outsourced accounting environments supporting U.S. clients.
