Senior Agentic AI Engineer - Bangalore

Senior Agentic AI Engineer responsible for driving AI\-first engineering practices, building agentic workflows, and developing AI\-powered product features while scaling backend systems for Lumio’s smart TV and home entertainment ecosystem.

• *Requirements**

• 4–7 years of backend engineering experience in production environments
• Strong hands\-on experience with Go and Python
• Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, distributed systems, databases, caching, queues, and observability
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and GCP
• Deep hands\-on experience with Claude Code and Cursor in real\-world software development
• Experience using AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and deployment
• Strong understanding of LLMs, model APIs, function calling, tool use, RAG, evals, and AI workflow orchestration
• Ability to build production\-grade AI\-enabled applications and services
• Strong product thinking and ability to connect AI capabilities with user outcomes
• Experience driving engineering best practices and influencing technical teams
• High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast\-paced startup environment

• *Responsibilities**

• Drive the transition to AI\-first engineering workflows across the organization
• Implement agentic AI practices across planning, development, testing, deployment, and operations
• Establish and optimize engineering workflows using Claude Code and Cursor
• Build internal AI agents and automation systems to improve engineering productivity
• Create playbooks, templates, and standards for AI\-native software development
• Evaluate emerging AI models, tools, and workflows for practical adoption
• Design and build AI\-powered product features for search, recommendations, personalization, content discovery, and automation
• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and cloud services
• Ensure AI\-assisted code meets standards for reliability, security, observability, and maintainability
• Mentor engineers in adopting AI\-assisted development practices
• Collaborate with founders and engineering leadership on AI strategy and execution
