Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled, hands\-on **Senior Alteryx Technical Engineer** with strong experience in Alteryx workflow development, ETL/ELT, SQL, data integration, performance optimisation, and production support.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimising, deploying, and supporting enterprise\-grade Alteryx workflows for business\-critical processes, including Investor Operations and Client Reporting.

The ideal candidate should have advanced Alteryx Designer expertise, practical experience developing reusable macros, strong SQL skills, and working knowledge of Alteryx Server or Alteryx One.

Key Responsibilities1\. Alteryx Workflow Development

• Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL/ELT workflows using Alteryx Designer.
• Work with Formula, Join, Union, Summarize, Cross Tab, Transpose, Regex, and Dynamic Input/Output tools.
• Develop Standard, Batch, and Iterative Macros and Analytic Apps.
• Build data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, enrichment, and exception\-handling workflows.
• Handle large datasets and complex business rules efficiently.

2\. Performance Optimisation and Troubleshooting

• Optimise workflow execution time, memory utilisation, and processing efficiency.
• Apply AMP Engine tuning, In\-DB processing, and database pushdown techniques.
• Troubleshoot workflow failures, schema mismatches, data conversion issues, and connectivity problems.
• Perform root\-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring production issues.

3\. Alteryx Server and Platform Operations

• Publish, deploy, schedule, and monitor production workflows.
• Manage workflow versions, dependencies, credentials, permissions, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot scheduling failures, execution queues, and resource constraints.
• Support Alteryx Server components, including Gallery, Controller, Worker, and Scheduler, where applicable.
• Assist with platform administration and environment management.

4\. SQL and Data Integration

• Develop complex SQL queries using joins, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions.
• Integrate Alteryx workflows with Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, XML, CSV, Excel, and other data sources.
• Configure and troubleshoot ODBC/JDBC connections.
• Implement incremental processing, duplicate detection, data reconciliation, and data quality checks.

5\. Identity and Access Management

• Support Microsoft Entra ID integration with Alteryx.
• Configure and troubleshoot SCIM\-based user and group provisioning.
• Manage user synchronisation, role assignments, and access permissions.
• Investigate authentication and provisioning issues in collaboration with IAM and infrastructure teams.

6\. Production Support and Stakeholder Management

• Own end\-to\-end delivery from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Monitor scheduled workflows and resolve production incidents.
• Maintain technical documentation, source\-to\-target mappings, specifications, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream application teams.
• Communicate technical issues, root causes, risks, and resolutions to business and technology stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• **Alteryx Certification:** Valid Alteryx Designer Core Certification or higher is mandatory.
• **Alteryx Designer:** Advanced hands\-on workflow development and automation.
• **Macros:** Experience with Standard, Batch, and Iterative Macros.
• **SQL:** Strong query development, joins, aggregations, and data reconciliation.
• **ETL/ELT:** Data transformation, integration, validation, and processing.
• **Performance Tuning:** AMP Engine, memory utilisation, and workflow optimisation.
• **Alteryx Platform:** Working knowledge of Alteryx Server or Alteryx One.
• **Production Support:** Workflow troubleshooting, scheduling, and incident resolution.
• **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good\-to\-Have Skills

• Private Equity, Investment Management, Investor Operations, or Client Reporting experience.
• Alteryx Designer Advanced or Expert Certification.
• Alteryx Server administration and Alteryx Analytics Cloud.
• Microsoft Entra ID and SCIM 2\.0 provisioning.
• Python scripting, including Pandas.
• Snowflake integration and SQL performance tuning.
• Alteryx Server APIs, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD.
• Financial data reconciliation, data governance, and audit controls.

Pay: Up to ₹200,000\.00 per month
