Our India team in Morinda, Punjab builds and runs the business applications behind Synergy's sales, service and client operations. You will work directly with our Canadian leadership and service teams, and the systems you build will be used every day by staff and clients across Canada.

Role summary

This role is the senior technical owner of three business applications. You will design, build, integrate and support all three, from requirements through to production.

We need someone who can work independently, make sound technical decisions, and explain them clearly to non\-technical colleagues in Canada. You will be the first point of contact for development on these platforms, so ownership matters as much as coding skill.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering, or an MCA, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5\+ years of professional application development experience.
• 3\+ years of hands\-on Odoo development (Community or Enterprise), including custom modules built on Odoo 16 or later.
• Strong Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript (including Odoo's OWL framework) and XML/QWeb.
• Proven experience building and consuming REST and RPC APIs and integrating business systems.
• Daily use of Git, branching workflows and code review.
• Working knowledge of Linux servers, Docker and deploying web applications to production.
• Clear written and spoken English, for working directly with Canadian colleagues and clients.

Preferred qualifications

• Odoo certification, or published Odoo modules (Odoo Apps Store, GitHub or OCA contributions).
• Full\-stack web development outside Odoo, for example React, Node.js, .NET or PHP.
• Experience with helpdesk, ticketing or IT service management platforms.
• Experience with large data migrations between business systems.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem: Microsoft 365, Entra ID single sign\-on, Microsoft Graph, Azure or Power BI.
• Experience working with clients or teams in North American time zones.

Pay: From ₹720,000\.00 per year
