Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented Senior Architect with strong expertise in residential redevelopment, SRA, and high\-rise building projects in Mumbai. The candidate should have hands\-on experience in liaisoning and approvals with BMC and other statutory authorities, along with excellent knowledge of Mumbai building regulations, DCPR norms, and project coordination.
The ideal candidate should be capable of handling projects from concept design to execution while coordinating with consultants, contractors, legal teams, and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, layouts, and design concepts for residential and redevelopment projects.
- Handle complete architectural planning and execution for SRA and redevelopment projects.
- Coordinate with BMC, SRA authorities, MCGM departments, fire department, and other approval authorities.
- Ensure compliance with DCPR regulations, building codes, FSI calculations, and statutory requirements.
- Manage submission drawings, approval processes, CC, IOD, OC, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with structural consultants, MEP consultants, liaison architects, and site execution teams.
- Conduct site visits and monitor project progress to ensure design compliance.
- Support project feasibility studies and redevelopment proposals.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure smooth coordination between all stakeholders.
- Review vendor and consultant drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Attend meetings with authorities, clients, societies, and management as required.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
- Registration with COA (Council of Architecture) preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- BMC approval procedures
- SRA norms and redevelopment processes
- DCPR 2034 regulations
- AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MS Office
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and execution
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Mumbai redevelopment and SRA projects is mandatory
- Prior experience working with real estate developers/builders preferred
- Exposure to high\-rise residential projects will be an added advantage
