• *Job Description**

We are seeking a Machine Development Application Engineer – Machine Development to develop, integrate, test, and commission software for automated machines and manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will design PLC, HMI, motion control, and robotic applications while collaborating with cross\-functional teams to deliver reliable, high\-performance machine automation solutions.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and implement PLC, HMI, SCADA, and motion control software for automated machines
• Design machine control architecture based on customer and process requirements
• Develop machine sequences, state machines, alarms, and safety logic Integrate PLCs with servo drives, VFDs, robots, vision systems, barcode readers, and field devices
• Configure industrial communication protocols: EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA, IO\-Link
• Develop HMI screens for machine operation, diagnostics, recipe management, and production monitoring
• Perform machine simulation, debugging, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and production support
• Troubleshoot software, communication, and control system issues during development and customer installations
• Optimize machine cycle time, reliability, and performance Develop reusable software libraries and programming standards
• Prepare software documentation, functional specifications, I/O lists, alarm lists, and operating manuals
• Support machine upgrades, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and application engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle

• *Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field 2–8 years of experience in industrial automation or machine software development
