Senior Billing Engineer

• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a Senior Billing Engineer to manage contractor bill verification, quantity assessment, reconciliation and final accounts for high\-end construction projects.

• *Mandatory Experience**

• Relevant billing experience in high\-end hospitality, commercial and premium residential developments.
• Hands\-on experience handling construction billing on at least one project with a total project value exceeding ₹500 crore.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural and finishing works, including premium interiors and external development.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Check and verify contractor RA bills and final bills against work orders, BOQs, approved drawings and actual site measurements.
• Carry out joint measurements and maintain measurement sheets and supporting records.
• Verify quantities, rates, previous certifications, advances, retention and applicable contractual deductions.
• Identify duplicate claims, excess billing, unsupported quantities and deviations from approved scope.
• Prepare quantity take\-offs and track executed quantities against BOQ provisions.
• Check extra\-item claims, variation statements and rate analyses with the contracts team.
• Carry out material reconciliation, including steel, cement and client\-issued materials.
• Maintain billing trackers, payment recommendations, variation registers and expenditure reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, PMC, consultants, contractors and accounts for timely bill processing.
• Prepare final account statements and support commercial closure with complete documentation.

• *Required Skills**

Strong measurement and quantity\-surveying skills, knowledge of relevant measurement standards, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD. Experience in developer/client\-side bill scrutiny will be preferred.
