Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, analysing business processes, translating requirements into functional specifications, and ensuring successful delivery of software solutions aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong requirement\-gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, along with experience working in Agile software development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement\-gathering sessions.
• Understand business objectives, challenges, workflows, and functional needs.
• Analyse business requirements and identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications.
• Validate requirements with stakeholders and obtain approvals.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), as applicable.
• Create user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules.
• Prepare AS\-IS and TO\-BE process documentation.
• Develop wireframes, workflow diagrams, and process models where required.
• Maintain requirement traceability throughout the software development life cycle.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, clients, developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Facilitate discussions to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate requirement changes effectively.
• Present proposed solutions and functional workflows to stakeholders.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain business sign\-off.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or a relevant business analysis certification
• 5–8 years of overall experience in business analysis, preferably in a software development or IT services company.
• Experience independently handling requirement\-gathering sessions and stakeholder discussions.
• Demonstrated experience preparing functional specifications and user stories.
• Experience working with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Experience supporting UAT, requirement validation, and change requests.

Pay: ₹717,000\.00 \- ₹1,000,000\.00 per year
