• *The opportunity**

You will work on world\-class retail supply chain solutions, deploying and running enterprise applications, including GPU\-powered AI/ML products, on Azure and Oracle Cloud. These applications run 24/7 and are business\-critical: warehouses and stores depend on them for daily operations. In this cloud and SRE role, you will own their reliability: defining and meeting SLOs, responding fast to incidents, troubleshooting end to end, and engineering out recurring problems through automation.

Job Description

• *Key responsibilities**

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team. In this role, you will:

• Own the reliability of business\-critical retail supply chain applications on Azure and Oracle Cloud, used 24/7 by warehouses and stores.
• Define and track SLIs and SLOs with product and application teams, using error budgets to balance reliability and release speed.
• Build observability (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and actionable alerts) using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.
• Provide 24/7 L2/L3 support, act as incident commander on major incidents, and lead root cause analysis and blameless post\-incident reviews.
• Troubleshoot end to end across Cloudflare, HAProxy, network, Linux, Docker, Apache TomEE/Java, APIs, and Oracle Database, and quickly isolate the failing layer.
• Diagnose Java application issues using thread dumps, heap dumps, GC logs, and APM traces.
• Perform first\-level Oracle Database triage and escalate to the DBA team with clear diagnostics.
• Build and deploy cloud infrastructure (networks, VMs, containers, VPN, ExpressRoute, FastConnect) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate away toil, such as deployments, health checks, failover, and routine maintenance, with Python and Bash.
• Plan capacity, tune performance, and test high availability and disaster recovery through regular failover drills.
• Plan and execute production changes with minimal downtime and tested rollback, and maintain runbooks.

• *Key criteria****Must\-have**

• 5\-10 years in SRE, cloud infrastructure, or production operations, including at least 3 years running production workloads on Azure or OCI.
• Strong cloud expertise (Azure or OCI) across networking (VNet/VCN, VPN, ExpressRoute/FastConnect), compute, storage, and IAM.
• Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu) and hands\-on Docker experience.
• Hands\-on Terraform, Ansible, and Python/Bash automation in production environments.
• Practical SRE experience: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction, 24/7 incident management, and blameless post\-incident reviews.
• Experience with observability and APM tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic).
• End\-to\-end troubleshooting across networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS), HAProxy or similar load balancers, Java on TomEE/Tomcat, REST APIs, and Oracle Database at triage level.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational shift and on\-call model.

• *Good\-to\-have**

• Cloud certifications (Azure, OCI, or AWS).
• Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, CDN, caching rules).
• CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps) with canary or blue\-green releases.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Chaos engineering or game\-day exercises to test resilience.
• GPU\-based compute supporting AI/ML workloads.
• Retail or supply chain domain exposure, ITIL familiarity, and strong written and verbal communication.
