Role Summary
This is a high\-end, senior writing role responsible for building and maintaining the complete written communication for two luxury design brands. The focus is not on content volume, but on premium, editorial\-quality writing that defines brand perception.
You will own all written communication across digital, editorial, campaign, and client\-facing platforms for both brands — each requiring a distinct tone, voice, and positioning.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Editorial \& Brand Content (The Quarry)
Write long\-form editorial content (500–1200 words): origin stories, material provenance, geological history, design philosophy
Create all Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest content — minimal, refined, non\-promotional tone
Write website copy including product descriptions, collection narratives, and brand storytelling
Develop campaign headlines and narrative concepts
2\. Design \& Narrative Content (Design First)
Write project narratives, design stories, client journeys, and philosophy\-driven content
Create warm, design\-led social media content across platforms
Define and write founder voice narratives (vision, philosophy, brand positioning)
Develop emotionally strong campaign concepts and messaging
3\. Cross\-Brand Responsibilities
Write Meta \& Google ad copy (luxury\-appropriate tone per brand)
Develop video and Reel scripts (natural, non\-scripted style)
Create client proposals, presentations, and email communication
Handle founder\-level communication and official statements
Build and maintain separate brand voice documents for both brands
Review all outgoing content for tone consistency and brand alignment
Research deeply across design, architecture, materials, and luxury domains and convert into high\-quality copy
Required Skills \& Experience
Experience
10–12 years of content writing/copywriting experience
Strong portfolio across long\-form editorial, social media, campaigns, and brand writing
Prior exposure to luxury, architecture, interior design, art, or premium lifestyle brands
Experience in maintaining or evolving a brand voice over time
Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of materials (marble, stone, finishes, surface treatments)
Knowledge of interior design and architectural terminology
Familiarity with luxury editorial standards (Architectural Digest, Wallpaper\*, Elle Decor, FT How To Spend It)
Core Skills
Ability to switch between two distinct luxury brand voices
Strong editorial judgment (clarity, restraint, structure, tone control)
Deep research ability without showing “research\-heavy writing”
Strong understanding of SEO vs brand\-led writing (distinct usage)
High attention to detail and narrative precision
Ability to work under feedback with maturity and ownership
Strong creative discipline and brand thinking
