A Lead Power BI Analyst is needed as part of our healthcare analytics team. The lead analyst’s primary role is to understand the business logic provided by the Project Head and translate it into clear requirements, data models, and Power BI reporting deliverables. The role also requires ownership of delivery timelines, coordination with a small development team, client interactions, and strong documentation discipline. The subject of analysis is connected with healthcare operations such as operational compliances, revenue and credit management, and financial dashboards.

· Comprehend business requirements and underlying business logic for healthcare operations analytics (e.g., healthcare operational compliances, revenue \& credit management, finance performance dashboards)

· Convert requirements into a Business Requirements Document (BRD), definitions, metric logic, and work steps that enable the data engineer and Power BI developers to deliver

· Own delivery plans and timelines; track progress, manage dependencies, and communicate status/risks to stakeholders

· Guide a small team through the analytical and delivery cycle

· Interact with the end\-users to clarify requirements, validate outputs, and manage feedback and change requests

· Ensure documentation of datasets, report logic, measures, and releases; maintain handover notes and user guides as required

• *Role:**

The role requires a minimum of six years of experience in data analytics with a functional background in business processes, and intermediate knowledge of Power BI (or a comparable BI tool). The analyst must demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently, manage stakeholders, and drive delivery with timelines.

Candidates would be assessed based on the following capabilities

• *Technical Capabilities:**

Proven work experience of six years as a Power BI Analyst (or BI/Data Analyst with strong Power BI delivery experience) is essential.

· Strong understanding of business processes, controls, and the ability to interpret business logic into analytical requirements

· Intermediate Power BI skills including data modelling, DAX measures, report design, and performance\-aware visualisation practices

· Proficient in translating business requirements into activities that enable the data engineer and Power BI development team to deliver

· Ability to define and document process flows, KPIs, and metric calculations (including assumptions, exceptions, and reconciliations)

· Demonstrable ability to investigate data to achieve the purpose of analysis and validate outputs against source systems

· Excellent conceptualisation of using visualisation to present insights for operational and financial decision\-making

· Working knowledge of data concepts (joins, grains, dimensional modelling) to collaborate effectively with data engineering

· Capability to seek solutions through ambiguity and conceptualise meaningful solutions

· Experience in Visio (added advantage)

· Excellent mathematical and computational skills

Candidates preferably from computer science or data science or mathematics or statistics or business backgrounds

• *Working Location:**

The role is onsite at Chennai and hence, only Chennai residents or candidates with immediate willingness to relocate to Chennai may apply.

• *Working Hours:**

Indian Standard Time – 8 hours a day
