• *Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Snowflake \& DBT**

• *Location:** Chennai (Hybrid)

• *Job Summary**

We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** with strong expertise in **Snowflake** and **DBT (Data Build Tool)** to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud\-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of **5 years of recent hands\-on experience** in both Snowflake and DBT and possess strong experience in developing modern data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.

• *Note:** Candidates with experience primarily in the **Healthcare domain** will not be considered.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using **Snowflake** and **DBT**.
• Build and optimize cloud\-based data warehouse solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Develop ELT/ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and curate data from multiple sources.
• Optimize SQL queries, data models, and Snowflake performance for large\-scale datasets.
• Implement data quality checks, testing, and monitoring using DBT best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.

• *Required Skills**

• **Minimum 5 years of current hands\-on experience in both Snowflake and DBT (mandatory).**
• Strong SQL programming and data modeling skills.
• Experience building ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Hands\-on experience with at least one cloud platform (**AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform**).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
