Senior Data Engineer (US Est Time zone)

• *About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, Azure Cloud services, and data integration/reporting tools such as SSIS and SSRS. Experience in the Retail or E\-Commerce domain is highly preferred.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and Azure\-based services
• Build scalable and reliable data solutions on Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Create and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and third\-party systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards are maintained
• Support data warehousing and reporting initiatives
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and best practices implementation

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• 5\+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or related role
• Strong hands\-on experience with:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
• Azure Cloud Services
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Excellent SQL development and database optimization skills
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or related Azure data services
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience in Retail or E\-Commerce industry
• Familiarity with Power BI
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
• Exposure to Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or Databricks
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Pay: ₹509,356\.57 \- ₹1,200,000\.00 per year
