• *Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced **Senior Data Vault Modeler** with strong expertise in Data Vault 2\.0, Data Warehousing, Databricks, and legacy data warehouse migration. The ideal candidate will lead the migration of legacy data warehouse platforms to a modern Databricks Lakehouse architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, data quality, and governance.

The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable collaborating with global teams, business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical leadership in a remote work environment.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design, build, and optimize Data Vault 2\.0 models, including Hubs, Links, Satellites, PIT tables, and Bridge tables.
• Lead end\-to\-end migration of legacy data warehouses to the Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
• Develop scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Live Tables (DLT).
• Optimize complex SQL queries, data models, and ETL/ELT pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement data governance, metadata management, data quality standards, and Data Vault modelling best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, data model reviews, and technical quality assessments.
• Mentor engineering teams and resolve technical challenges during migration projects.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• 10\+ years of overall experience in Data Warehousing, Data Architecture, and ETL/ELT pipeline design.
• Strong hands\-on expertise in **Data Vault 2\.0 modelling** for large\-scale enterprise projects.
• Proven experience in end\-to\-end legacy data warehouse migration to modern cloud platforms.
• Hands\-on experience with **Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, and Spark SQL**.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of relational database design and enterprise data architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.

• *Good to Have**

• Certified Data Vault 2\.0 Practitioner (CDVP2\).
• Databricks Data Engineer or Architect certification.
• Experience with CI/CD, dbt, and automated Data Vault generation tools such as WhereScape or Coalesce.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands\-on Data Vault 2\.0 modelling expertise, strong Databricks knowledge, and proven experience leading legacy data warehouse migration projects are highly preferred.
