Senior Database Administrator

As a Senior DBA, the individual shall be able to

 Performs and Supervises daily activities of DBA team

 Manage on\-prem ODA as well as Oracle database on OCI platform

 This includes managing Oracle (11g, 19c, 26ai with RAC), Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL systems.

 Installation and updating of new software, install new versions of all database software, application software core banking

application and other software related oracle administration.

 Maintenance of database servers, core banking application servers and related servers controlling access permissions

and privileges of database

 Maintaining secure storage of database backup

 Troubleshooting any oracle database problem

 Monitor and maintain system health, performance and security

 Configuration and maintenance Real Application Cluster and Active Data Guard.

 Ensuring maximum uptime and performance

 Backup and recovery database

 Development and testing support, helping programmer and system engineer to efficiently utilize the database

 Responsible for documenting the configuration of database and troubleshooting scenario Plan Switch\-Over for testing

Disaster/Recovery

 Continuously discover, evaluate, implement, technologies maximize development efficiency

 Detail and document clear project specification and system architecture for implementation and maintenance

 Knowledge BI Report management and Data Analytical Analysis

 Develop Reports as business requirement

 Must be able perform duties with moderate to lower supervision

 Keep focus on project assigned

 Others to be assigned by management as high priority

Qualifications and Requirements

Overall 7\+ years of IT experience and

 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with 5 years Oracle database and product development

 Hands on working experience with database management on OCI cloud platform

 Minimum 4\-5 years’ experience working on Data Analysis or MIS/BI reporting and DBA in Banking sector.

 Fluency in SQL languages, PLSQL, reporting tools such as Oracle BI, Power BI….

 Experience in working with large structured and unstructured data sets

 Experience leading complex cross\-functional initiatives.

 Familiarity with Oracle database, SQL Server, MySQL , Linux OS, Postgres, Oracle WebLogic, and others.

 Experience with Oracle 26ai database.

 Capable of understanding database table structure.

 Capable in database migration from version 11g to 26ai.

 Knowledge of ETL tools as well as OCI Database Migration Service.

 Experience with Oracle Data Guard and GoldenGate.

 Experience with OCI Registry and OCI Data Warehouse.

 Must exhibit strong interpersonal skill, with ability to work with a variety of personality types.

 Team management, interpersonal \& leadership skills.

Pay: ₹1,112,000\.00 \- ₹1,880,000\.00 per year
